Noah Franco vs. the world

I'm Noah Franco, a future graduate of CSUF with an Associate in Studio Arts and a BFA in Entertainment Arts, Also known as Animation. My purpose as an artist is to entertain, inform, and create art that is relevant and important to me. Art exists for the artist, not you or the audience.
    
    Currently, I work with an array of mediums but I work best with Watercolor/gouache, Photography, Acrylic, Graphite, and charcoal. I'm able to work with Oil but am not entirely comfortable or competent to do so.

 

    My style is distinct and eccentric- reflecting my personality. Painting and drawing wise I take heavy influence From Gustav Klimt, and Egon Schiele. notable mention includes Jean-Michel Basquiat, Ivan Alifan, van Gogh, and Henriette Harris. 
    
    For photography, my greatest influence is Robert Mapplethorpe. His bluntly controversial subject matter is sensual, erotic and rightfully crude. Notable mentions include Cindy Sherman, Barbra Kruger and the upcoming photographer Alex Stoddard who gets a notable mention as well.
    
    My artwork/photography typically feature portraits of young men. It's more of an open story for photography, but portraits will stay true to their roots of people I tend to admire
